Internet access

Every business needs an internet connection, but the options can be bewildering. We help you cut through the jargon and get what you need.

We supply a range of broadband DSL lines because they offer the best value for money for small offices.

Managed broadband

All our broadband lines are ‘managed’ via an ultra-reliable virtual private network (VPN), meaning that we monitor the connections and can respond to a problem as soon as it occurs. (Probably before you’ve even noticed.)

Benefits

  • reliability from business-class equipment and the UK's best broadband ISPs
  • fast support from expert engineers
  • low hassle by letting experts set up the service and your firewall

Connection types

There’s a bit of jargon here, but bear with us. We’ll explain the benefits of each one in English and make sure you have the right option for your business.

Converged data and voice networks
We run an MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) network that can combine computer and voice traffic on the same lines, reducing costs and allowing you the benefits of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephony.

Private networks
An extremely reliable virtual private network between your offices allows easy file sharing and group working without security issues.

ADSL broadband
The standard small office connection for general use: 512k to 2mb download and 256k upload.

ADSL ‘LLU’ broadband
With their ‘local loop unbundled’ from BT, some exchanges allow faster lines. For businesses with heavier data requirements, 4 or 8mb download and 768K upload speeds.

SDSL broadband
Equal upload and download speeds for larger offices and vital communication lines. 500k to 2mb speeds.

Leased lines
For the ultimate in reliability and speed, these are the answer, offering faster 10-100mb connections.
